The 02 Arena in London [England] is already sold out ahead of Saturday’s heavyweight fight between Dillian Whyte and Joseph Parker.
The two boxers mount the ring with contrasting history as they challenge for the WBC silver and WBO International heavyweight crowns.
For instance, ‘The Body Snatcher’ – Dillian Whyte steps in feeling on top of the moon having destroyed Lucas Browne with a sixth round devastating knockout at the same venue [02 Arena] in March this year.
Joseph Dennis Parker on the other hand is returning to the United Kingdom for the first time since his first career defeat to Anthony Joshua at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Meanwhile, Eddie Hearn [promoter] believes that the two boxers have equal opportunity going into the fight, adding that the winner will soon be in a world title shot:
“This is hugely important clash for the heavyweight division that has captured imagination of the public.
Dillian Whyte’s career is on a ferocious upward curve right now and his popularity is continuing to grow.
“March underlined that prowess at the top level and now another visitor from down under is here to try to halt Dillian’s rise to the top.”
“Joseph Parker is a softly spoken and a likeable man, but make no mistake that in the ring he’s all business and has bad intentions for Dillian.
“This is a real 50-50 contest and I’ve no doubt that the winner will be in world title action very soon,” he predicted.
Dillian Whyte – [24-23-1, 17KO’s]
Joseph Parker – [25-24-1, 18KO’s]
