Liverpool Football Club have reportedly signed young Ghanaian midfield virtuoso – Abdul Fatawu Issahaku for a fee believed to be around £1.5m.

The 17-year-old Steadfast FC player who has become a subject of transfer controversy in the last couple of days following his move to Bundesliga side – Bayer 04 Leverkusen which was canceled during the last hour due to issues best known to the agent.

It is understood that the Reds gave the Ghanaian attacking middie a convincing five-year contract.

But, Abdul Fatawu [under age] will not be able to play for Liverpool for the upcoming season due to the new Brexit rules. The next available option at Liverpool’s disposal is to loan the proven talented young star.

The Reds have been in a similar situation not quite long ago having had to wait for a long while to see Taiwo Awoniyi’s work permit through.
