The CAF/FIFA liaison team charged with the duty to manage Ghana’s international competitions has denied reports which suggests that Doctors – Adams Baba and Prince Pamboe are at war as to who takes charge of the Black Satellites.
There were pockets of reports in the media on Thursday that an abrupt confusion had rocked the Ghana U-20 male team [Black Satellites] camp with the two doctors clashing over roles as the team’s physician.
But in a statement signed by Mr. Francis Oti-Akenteng [Member, CAF/FIFA Team] and released on Friday, July 27 suggests that no such confusion has ever existed in the camp.
According to the statement, Dr. Adams Baba is the team physician assigned to the Black Satellites whiles Dr. Prince Pamboe is in charge of the CHAN team.
However, Dr. Prince Pamboe’s presence at the camp became necessary as a result of the workload on Dr. Adams Baba who requested for the services of his colleague.
The Liaison team called on the general public to disregard the earlier publications linked with the two medical officers.
