Hearts of Oak head coach – Samuel Boadu has told supporters of the former continental club masters to be circumspect in their celebration of the club’s sudden renaissance in the ongoing 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Two second half goals from Isaac Mensah and Benjamin Afutu Kotey gave the Phobians a much needed three points and a course to jubilate having squandered a penalty in the first stanza.

Samuel Boadu in his post match conference admitted that they have every reason to jubilate for winning three straight games, but while at it, they should keep in mind that their upcoming games are more important.

“We are not going to over celebrate this victory because we have more matches ahead of us.

“We are planning towards those games and I believe that if we focus on the upcoming games and win most of them it’ll help us.”

According to coach Boadu he is working on his team’s second half attitude, hence the kind of improvement in their second half performance against Elmina Sharks on Sunday.

The Phobians have moved to the second spot on the league log with 43 points after matchweek 25, two points behind leaders – Asante Kotoko Sporting Club.
Hearts of Oak will travel to Techiman to play as guest to Eleven Wonders at the Nana Ameyaw Park on May 21.
