Striker for Legon Cities Football Club – Jonah Attuquaye has predicted nothing, but victory for the Royals ahead of their matchday 22 game against Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

Speaking ahead of the game the striker said he and his colleagues are well prepared for the Porcupine Warriors:

“I will say that we are well prepared because if you look at our last match against Dreams FC we had a good game, but we were not able to get the three maximum points.”

Attuquaye, however, reckons that the tie is going to be a difficult one judging from the results of the two teams last weekend games, but the Royals are going to win nonetheless.

“Where we are [position] on the league log is very bad. For them [Kotoko] too they lost their last game against Medeama SC so I think it’s going to be a very crucial game but per what we are doing [training] here, we are going to win the match.

“We are determined to win because they have more points than us. We are in need of this point so we have to grab this maximum points and I’m sure we are taking it.

According to the former Berekum Chelsea attacker they [Legon Cities] are bent on over turning their first round defeat [0-1] to the Porcupine Warriors this time around.

The Royals are 15th on the league table with 23 points and a defeat to Kotoko can push them down the relegation basket.

Asante Kotoko [2nd] on the other hand have got their eyes on the league trophy and losing to Legon Cities will not help their course.
