Legon Cities Football Club have dedicated their 2-0 victory over Aduana Stars on matchweek 26 to coach Bashir Hayford who was conspicuously missing on the technical bench on Sunday.

It was rumoured during the game that the experience manager’s absence on the bench suggest that he has parted ways with The Royals, but speaking on the issue in the post match conference, assistant coach – Wahid Mohammed rubbished the claims.

“Unfortunately, he is not feeling well today and I stand on behalf of the entire team to wish him a speedy recovery. We dedicate this win to him.”

Coach Wahid added that their plan C worked to perfection against Aduana Stars whiles singling out Mathew Anim Cudjoe for special commendations.

“This is our plan C and it worked to perfection. Our front men did well to hold up play. Anim Cudjoe was excellent today.”

The Royals have move out of the relegation zone [11th position] having accumulated 32 points.
