Coach of the Black Stars James Kwesi Appiah has announced a 24-man squad ahead of Ghana’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Red Devils of Congo.
Making the list for the first time is West African Football Academy’s diminutive midfielder Gideon Waja, Edwin Gyasi of Aalesund in the Norwegian League, Lawrence Ati Zigi, and Joseph Attamah Larweh of Bakaksehir.
The players are expected to begin camping in Accra on Monday, August 28. Ghana will host the Red Devils [Congo] on September 01, 2017.
The invited players are;
