Coach Kwesi Appiah has named his 22-man squad ahead of Ghana’s double header friendly international match in the United States of America.
The lists include four Major League Soccer [MLS] stars – Kwadwo Poku [striker], David Accam [striker], Mohammed Abu [midfielder], and Gershon Koffie [midfielder].
Making a case for outfield local players in Kwesi Appiah’s squad are Liberty Professional’s Samuel Sarfo and Hearts of Oak midfield marshal – Winful Cobbinah, as well as Berekum Chelsea’s Nicholas Opoku.
The Black Stars will take on Mexico in Houston, Texas on Wednesday, June 28 before playing the United States of America in Connecticut on July 1.
