Seer Kwaku Gyan, a self styled prophet and a known soothsayer has described Kurt Okraku’s reign as a passing wind which will crash in no time.
According to Seer Gyan Kurt Okraku’s led administration will not go beyond one term and could be dealt with an acidic blow should Wilfried Osei Kwaku Palmer win his pending case against the GFA at the Court of Arbitration for Sport [CAS].
“Kurt Okraku’s reign is only one term,” Seer Gyan told Wontumi TV yesterday.
“In fact, if care is not taken he may not even realize the one term because should Palmer win his case at CAS, that will be the end of Kurt,” he added.
Kurt Okraku on October 25, 2018, became the 7th President of the Ghana Football Association since 1992 and the 24th in the Association’s history after winning one of the most keenly contested GFA elections ever, beating competition from the likes of George Afriyie and Nana Yaw Amponsah.
President Akufo-Addo declares unalloyed support for Kurt Okraku
The President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo on Wednesday, 30th October, 2019 assured Mr. Kurt E.S. Okraku of the unalloyed support of his government in the realization of his vision for the growth and development of Ghana football.
“you have to know that, so long as I am in this seat, you will have unalloyed support in the way you want to take Ghana football. It is not right that so many years have passed, and, yet, we have not won the big cups again. We have to go back to the winning ways that used to characterize our football. You have a big task ahead of you.”
President Akufo-Addo made this assertion when Mr. Kurt Okraku, in the company of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah, paid a courtesy call on him at Jubilee House, the seat of the nation’s presidency.
