Head coach of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club – Johnson Smith has predicted that his team will be in a better shape after their next two games.

The Porcupine Warriors defeated Liberty Professionals 2-0 yesterday in a match which could best be described as a game of equal halves with Asante Kotoko controlling the ship in the first stanza whiles the scientific soccer lads controlled the second half.

Speaking in a post match interview, coach Smith admitted the situation and said he is still trying to put the team in a much better shape and predicted that things will be different after their next two games.

“The players are gradually getting use to the system.

“At first, the players used to do little running but things have change. They are doing more incisive running at the moment and that has completely change our style of play.

“I’ll plead with the supporters to give us two more games and everything will be fine with the team.”

Asante Kotoko’s next game is against the West African Football Academy at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope on Sunday.
