The 2017 Ghana Premier League [GPL] bounces back this weekend with some mouth watering fixtures across all centers.

The winless streak of Asante Kotoko will come to test again as Tema Youth host the Porcupine Warriors on Sunday at the Tema Community 3 Park.

Asante Kotoko had a tumultuous first season, having gone two months without a single win, a situation which forced the Porcupine Warriors to effect three changes in the technical direction of the club.

Tema Youth on the other finished twelfth with 17 points on the league ladder and would love to kick off the second round on a positive note with a win over Asante Kotoko but it will certainly not come easy with Steve Pollack on the bench of the visitors.

Glorious Hearts of Oak will host the scientific soccer lads [Liberty Professionals] at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Phobians [Hearts of Oak] culminated the first round with a resounding victory [3-0] over Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman but the scientific soccer lads [Liberty] knowing what happened to them before the break will come into this game with a different approach.

Coach Michael Osei will lead the technical bench of Liberty Professionals this time around and his greatest challenge will be how to devise a strategy that could freeze the attacking midfield triumvirates [Thomas Abbey, Winful Cobbinah, and Patrick Razak] of Hearts from winning enough balls in the danger zones.

Inter Allies will play as host to the West African Football Academy [WAFA] at the El-Wak Park. The first leg at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope ended 2-0 in favour of WAFA but Inter Allies are bent on turning the table this time around.

Berekum Chelsea will play as guest to Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday. The last time Olympics played at this same venue saw the wonder club [Olympics] picking all three points at the expense of Asante Kotoko but Berekum Chelsea could pull a surprise.

At the Cape Coast Stadium Ebusua Dwarfs will also host debutant, Elmina Sharks. The visitors will come into this game with enough bullets to fire at the mysterious club, but trust Ebusua Dwarfs to run with the three points at stake.

Aduana Stars and Bechem United will come face-to-face at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa in a feisty Brong Ahafo derby.

All Stars will host relegation threatened AshantiGold SC at the Wa Park whiles Medeama SC will also engage Bolga All Stars at the Tarkwa T&A Park.
