The playing body and the technical team of Asante Kotoko have taken the first step into their journey to Cameroon with the team’s arrival in Accra ahead of Friday’s trip.

The team, made up of 18 players, seven technical officials, a management member, and a photojournalist, arrived in Accra last night having left the Garden City [Kumasi] by road in the afternoon.

The team spent the night at the luxurious MJ Grand Hotel at East Legon and will leave for the Kotoka International Airport in this morning.

The Porcupine Warriors will storm Cameroon with a 30-man contingent with a flight through Togo.

The team will touch down in Yaounde, the venue for the first leg Confederation Cup playoff tie against Coton Sport at 5:30 PM on Friday.
