The ‘Porcupine Warriors,’ Asante Kotoko will be seeking to overturn the abrupt voodoo that has clouded their home grounds as they host Wa All Stars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this afternoon.

It is on record that Asante Kotoko have not won a single game at their backyard since picking a slim win [1-0] over league leaders [West Africa Football Academy] three months ago, precisely on matchday 7.

Apart from that, Asante Kotoko have not won any official sanctioned match by more than one goal margin throughout the season, including their MTN FA Cup Round of 16 triumph over Division One side Wassaman United last Sunday

But despite this statistical disadvantage, the Porcupine Warriors are still hopeful of winning the three points at stake going into today’s battle against the 2016 Ghana Premier League champions – Wa All Stars.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently fifth on the league ladder with 26 points whiles the visitors [Wa All Stars] are just two points [24] behind Asante Kotoko but on tenth position.

Wa All Stars will indeed come hard at Kotoko but one can always bet for a slim win for the Porcupine Warriors whenever they are playing at home and this afternoon’s duel will not be different either.
