Legon Cities FC head coach – Bashir Hayford has admitted that King Faisal were the better side in their matchweek 31 game against The Royals at the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman on Monday.

Two goals from either half from Kwadwo Frimpong and Kwame Pepprah was all, but what King Faisal needed to boost their chances of survival in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

Speaking in a post match press conference the experience gaffer noted that the home team looked more determined the win all the three points at stake:

“Our opponents were much better than us today. They put up a spirited fight and performance.

“They were more determined than my boys and that reflected in the score line.

“My boys [players] were down psychologically. I spoke to them in the dressing room and even on the pitch, I spoke to them again before the start of the second half.

“We started the game strongly then a little mistake from the back and we are down. It’s difficult.”

The coach, however, assured supporters of Legon Cities that they’ll do everything in their capacity to win their subsequent matches.

“The rest of our games, we will give everything for it and make sure we get the three points because we need it.”
