German-born Ghanaian attacking midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has expressed his satisfaction for extending his contract with La Liga side, Union Deportiva [UD] Las Palmas.

Kevin [30] signed for the Spanish side on August 02, 2016 from AC Milan on a free transfer. He made his first appearance in a 4-2 away win over Valencia on August 22.

The flamboyant Ghanaian midfielder was offered a contract extension this week until 2020 due to his great first season at the club where he has so far scored ten [10] goals from twenty-eight [28] matches for Las Palmas.

After signing the contract, Kevin-Prince Boateng could not hide his joy as he took to his Facebook page to express his feelings:

“Happy to keep wearing the shirt of @udlaspalmasoficial #2020#prince7,” Kevin wrote.

Haven’t featured for Germany at the junior [U-19, U-20, and U-21] levels, Kevin switched his allegiance to Ghana on May 07, 2010 and played for the Black Stars at the 2010 FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa.

The former AC Milan player surprisingly announced his retirement from international football in November 2011 but reversed his decision in 2013 and was named in Coach Kwesi Appiah’s final 23-man squad for the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup.
