Kaya Adwoa Forson, a female swimmer has turned what rather used to be grueling in the eyes of many Ghanaians to look very simple in modern day sport – swimming.

Born on March 19, 2002, Kaya is already a national heroine having represented Ghana at the 2015 World Championships in Russia. She was the youngest athlete at the competition held in Kazan.

The 200 metre freestyle and backstroke specialist [Kaya] and her male colleague – Abeiku Jackson became the first Ghanaians ever to compete in swimming at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016.

Although still young, the statistics of Ghana’s Queen in the Pool looks good and could even look better should she take her training very serious.
