Jamaica will compete in the 4x200m relays at the DSI Invitational/Armory Invitational Indoors in New York City on January 26.

The defending men’s champions will feature Oshane Bailey, Germaine Brown, Kavon Rattray, Miguel Barton and Stallone Watson while the women who second last year will be comprised of Verone Chambers, Tovia Jenkins, Schillonie Calvert, Okhalia Buchanan and Candice McLeod.

The USA, who won the women’s race last year and Guyana will also compete in the event but head coach Dalton Evans has high expectations. “I am expecting both to be victorious,” he said head.

Meanwhile, several other Jamaica elites will be on show at the meet. They include Jamaica’s 800m champion Natoya Goule, who broke the national record twice in 2018. She will compete in the 1000m while Simoya Campbell will run in the 600m.

Kemoy Campbell will run in the 3000m.

Jamaica Athletic Administrative Association (JAAA) President Dr Warren Blake, General secretary Garth Gayle and Sprintec head coach Maurice Wilson are expected to be in attendance.
