South African midfielder – Teboho Mokoena whose solitary effort gifted Bafana Bafana 1-0 win over Zimbabwe at the FNB Stadium on Thursday has called on his teammates to put in their all as they battle the Black Stars at the Cape Coast Stadium for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup [Group G] slot.

Coach Hugo Broos’ men [Bafana] sit atop the Group G table with 13 points and would need at least a draw from their game against the Black Stars who are second on the log with 10 points and could wrestle for the only slot from the South African should they win today’s fixture.

Speaking in a post match interview after Bafana’s win over neighbors, Zimbabwe, the SuperSport United midfielder – Mokoena admitted that he was not impressed with the result of the game but urged his teammates to be positive going into the game against Ghana to make history for themselves [the players].

“When we came here from the first day, we came here on a plain page. It is only us who can make history.

“Yes, we take the win going into Ghana’s game, and we have to be positive going to Sunday clash, and I hope we give our best, and then we come back with the best result.”
