Paris Saint Germain coach – Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that their titanic Champions League semi -final game against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium tonight is going to be demanding.
Pep Guardiola’s side stun PSG at the Parc des Princes last week having come from a goal down to beat the Perisians in Paris.
Speaking at a pre match conference yesterday, Pochettino who guided Tottenham Hotspur to the finals of the 2018/2019 Champions League where Spurs eventually lost the trophy to Liverpool said preparing against Manchester City is always an arduous task.
“Yes of course, is difficult because if you don’t go through you are not going to have a chance to prepare for the final.
“The final is only one game, it depends on different factors. In the semi-final you have to legs to play, and of course the emotional approach tonight is going to be there because it’s a result that is affected what happened one week before.
“They have 2-1 advantage and of course, we need to take risks, we need to be brave, we need to be aggressive, and we need to plan the game knowing that Manchester City are a team that can manage different styles of play.
“Being clever , believing and trying to show our quality on the pitch. It’s going to be a battle. It’s going to be difficult, but the most important thing is that we are going to be ready.”
