About hundred golfers will flock back to the Celebrity Golf Club course on Saturday, November 21 as the MTN Invitational Golf Tournament returns.

The quarterly golf tourney which has stalled this year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic is being organized in memory of a former MTN Board member [Prof. Jacob Plange Rhule] who was an ardent golfer until his sudden demise in April.

Until his death on Good Friday, April 10, Professor Jacob Plange-Rhule was the Rector of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, a nephrologist at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital and a professor at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.

The theme of the event is – MTN Business, Your One-Stop -Shop For All ICT Solutions.

According to the organizers, there will be surprises for all golfers who will turn up to take part in the one day competition.

Apart from the giant trophy at stake, distinguished golfers on the day will go home with other prizes including MTN devices.
