Hat-trick hero, Themba Zwane says he wants to contribute more goals and assists for Mamelodi Sundowns this season.

The midfielder, otherwise known as ‘Mshishi’ scored three goals in nine minutes to help the Masandawana [Sundowns] beat AmaZulu 4-3 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium yesterday said he would like to do more for his side going forward.

“Obviously I want to thank my teammates, we did well, as a player I want to score more, create more chances. I want to work for my team,” Zwane told SuperSport TV.

“To be honest I was not aware [about needing permission to change a shirt] because they were putting us under pressure so I wanted to change quickly. But ja it’s my mistake and I apologise to the coaches,” he added.

“I’m focusing on improving the ‘Mshishi’ of last season, trying to get more goals, more assists, help my team to win trophies.”

The win has taken the Brazilians two points clear at the top of the log with 10 points, followed by Swallows FC and Orlando Pirates both on 8 points.
