The legendary Mike Tyson has revealed which fighter he would’ve loved to face in the modern era. An old video surfaced, in which Tyson was asked who he would’ve loved to square off against.

‘Iron’ Mike pointed to another legendary boxer,Floyd Mayweather. Both fighters have gone onto cement their legacy in the world of boxing and are considered the face of boxing.

Mike Tyson struck fear in his opponents like no other. 44 out of his 50 fights ended in a vicious knockout victory for the baddest man on the planet. Mayweather on the other hand is often considered the greatest of all time due to his record and caliber of opponents. ‘Money’ Mayweather retired with a perfect record of (50-0). Moreover, he has defeated top fighters such as Canelo Alvarez. Cotto and Oscar De La Hoya.

“I wouldn’t fight him the way they fought him”- Mike Tyson

“Well, I would love to have fought him, I wish he was my weight. We can never fight, of course, because of the weight difference, but I wouldn’t fight him the way they fought him.

“I would be mean, I would be dirty. Because you’d have to do everything to fight him because he’s just so good.

“You can’t… it’s almost impossible to fight him clean. It’s just so hard to beat him. I don’t care. It’s really hard to beat him. The style he deploys — it’s really difficult to beat him in that particular style. I don’t care. Love him or hate him, he’s a hard man to beat. I would fight a guy like Floyd differently if he was a heavyweight” said Tyson on ShoBox

Tyson is set to make a return to the ring after staying retired for nearly 15 years. Mike has been offered millions of dollars from various promotions, however, he is yet to confirm his opponent. Tyson announced he’ll be boxing for charity upon his return.
