Hearts of Oak manager – Samuel Boadu has expressed his delight over his club’s fulfilled revenge mission over Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Having lost 0-1 to Inter Allies in the first round of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League, the Phobias [Hearts] were bent on paying back the relegation threatening club [Allies] without mercy going into the game.
Cometh the judgment day, all Hearts needed to accomplish their mission was Daniel Afriyie’s close range goal in the 26th minute.
Speaking in a post match interview, a happily looking coach Boadu expressed his delight for mission accomplished:
“It was a good game and I was happy we won.
“The boys got the job done and that’s what matters. Our target was to revenge for our defeat in the first round.”
Coach Samuel Boadu further reiterated his next focus on their week 21 cliffhanger against Karela United in Ayinase.
“We are done with this match and
our next attention is our game against Karela. We are going back to the drawing board to start work.”
