American athlete – Noah Lyles scored a sprint double at the Gyulai István Memorial in Székesfehérvár, Hungary, on Wednesday.

Originally only entered for the 100m, the USA’s world 200m champion Lyles first clocked 10.05 (+0.3m/sec) to win the shorter sprint before returning around an hour later to also claim 200m victory in 20.13 (+1.3m/s).

Britain’s Adam Gemili was second in the 100m, running 10.28, and he too ran the 200m, finishing third in 20.56.

Italy’s Eseosa Desalu was second in the half-lap event, clocking 20.35.

In other event, Hugues Fabrice Zango leaps a world lead to win the triple jump ahead of Christian Taylor, while Nadine Visser equals her own world-leading 100m hurdles mark.
