The first meet of the 2018 edition of the Ghana Fastest Human took off at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Sunday April 29, 2018.

The competition was keen and the sprinters registered good times despite the use of hand timing devices.

Afelibiek Abaabu Upper East Schools and colleges Sports Federation Chairman Vice president of GNAT headmaster of, BIGBOSS was one of the guests who graced the occasion and David Amofa, Corporate Affairs, GNPC.

Rex Brobbey, founder of the initiative to unearth good sprinters for Ghana said the programme was a success and it continues in other regions.

The event was successful despite an earlier battle with refuse at the stadium after a political event.
