Isaac Dogboe is all good to go this evening after making the weight ahead of his 8-round featherweight contest against Christopher Matthew Avalos as Top Ranks’s time Inside the Bubble concludes at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Isaac Dogboe [22-20-2, 14KO’s] did not encounter any challenge for the contracted 126-pound fight, hitting the scale at 126 lbs.

Meanwhile, Chris Avalos [34-27-7, 20KO’s] had some trouble making the weight, weighing in at 126.6 pounds in his first attempt. He did come back and weighed 125.9 pounds.

Unlike his opponent [Avalos] who has only challenged for the IBF super bantamweight title [lost to Carl Frampton in 2015] and the WBA super featherweight title [lost to Leo Santa Cruz in 2017], Isaac Dogboe on the other hand held the WBO bantamweight title in 2018, but surrendered it to Emanuel Navarrete at the Hulu Theater in New York’s Madison Square Garden on December 8, 2018.

Having lost two fights on the road to Emanuel Navarrete, Isaac Dogboe cannot afford to go down for the third time especially when he’s very much aware that the Mexican trouble puncher – Navarrete has vacated the WBO Bantamweight title.

In the classifiers, Isaac Dogboe is an A-slide fighter and a fun fighter every time he step in the ring and shouldn’t have too much of a problem to overwhelm and possibly stop Chris Avalos within the rounds.
