The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] has proposed that the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League start in October.
The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League was halted in March due to the outbreak of the coronavirus outbreak [after week 15] and subsequently calling off the season on June 30.
The date remains tentative until the 26th ordinary session of Congress which has been fixed for Thursday, August 27, 2020 is held.
The format for the upcoming season could be quite different from as the GFA is seeking to introduce certain innovations in place.
