Three goals from Kelvin Andoh, David Abagna, and Paul Asare Devries was all but what premier league champions – Wa All Stars needed to wash off Medeama Sporting Club in style at the Malik Jabir Park on Sunday.

The home side [Wa All Stars] broke the deadlock as early as the 7th minute through a well calculated header by Kelvin Andoh who was left loose marked by the Medeama SC central pair giving him enough space and time to head All Stars into the lead.

With a goal down in the early minutes of the game, the Yellow and Mauves [Medeama SC] tried to re energize their play but they couldn’t create enough goal scoring chances. David Abagna signed off the first half with the last ink as he scored from the spot to give All Stars a 2-0 lead going into the break.

Kweku Asuandzie and Paul Asare Devries however, combined beautifully in the second half to nail the coffin on Medeama SC’s scalp as the latter sent a bullet from 40 meters to beat Medeama goalie, Yaw Ansah who had stepped off his line.

Wa All Stars have moved up [7th] the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points.
