Coach Kwesi Appiah has named a semi strong squad ahead of friendly international games against two World Cup competitors – Iceland and Japan in June, 2018.
According to our source Kwesi Appiah will use the two matches to prepare for the 2019 African Cup of Nations [AFCON] qualifiers.
Conspicuously missing from the squad is the captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan as well as the Ayew brothers – Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew.
Making the squad for the first time are Andrew Kyere Yiadom, Kwasi Okyere, and Emmanuel Boateng.
Returning into the team after a while are; Mubarak Wakaso, Rashid Sumaila, and Albert Adaomah.
