The Black Stars of Ghana held its first training at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Monday, October 08 ahead of their 2019 AFCON qualifying match against Sierra Leone on Thursday at the same venue.

Nine [9] players reported on day one as coach Kwesi Appiah took them through some training drills.

The players who reported on day one are; Asamoah Gyan, Felix Annan, Richard Ofori, Emmanuel Boateng, Bernard Mensah, Andy Yiadom, Nicholas Opoku, Afriyie Acquah, and Christian Atsu.

Coach Kwesi Appiah is expecting a full house by the close of today in other to plot his tactical formation with the team ahead of matchday.

Ghana is atop the Group F table with 3 points, same as Kenya, Sierra Leone, and Ethiopia but the Black Stars have a superior goal advantage.
