The twinkle twinkle little starlets [Black Starlets] finished top of group A in the ongoing African U-17 championship in Gabon.
The Black Starlets [first African side] to secure qualification to the FIFA U-17 World Cup in India after winning its first two matches in the competition against Cameroon and Gabon were held in an entertaining goalless [0-0] draw game by Guinea.
Guinea thus become the second country behind Ghana to book one of the four slots for Africa at the world cup having come up as the runners up in group A with four points.
Mali and Tanzania are likely to qualify from group B having secured four [4] points each but their opponents; Niger and Angola are not completely out as they have one [1] point to their credit going into the last group matches.
Elsewhere in Europe, Spain beat England on penalty shootouts to win the UEFA U-17 European Championship in Croatia.
The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 will take place in India from October 6 to 28.
