Seven-time world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce, Elaine Thompson, and Briana Williams all made it through to the finals of the 100m for senior women at the JAAA/SVL National Junior and Senior Championships in Kingston on Friday.

Fraser-Pryce, who appeared to false-start in her semi-final heat before the track marshals showed the field a green card, eased to 11.15s finishing ahead of Jonielle Smith (11.18) and Jura Levy (11.22), the latter two also advancing to the final.

2016 double Olympic champion Elaine Thompson eased up in her semi-final, the first of three and was edged out by Natasha Morrison who took the heat in 11.52s. Thompson was timed in 11.55 but was safely through to the finals.

Shericka Jackson, the Olympic and World Championship 400m bronze medalist, stormed to victory in her heat in 11.25s ahead of teen phenom Briana Williams (11.29) with Sashalee Forbes finishing third in 11.32s.
