The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced a case of Coronavirus infection affecting national football.

Falah Salah, fromer Iraqi goalkeeper tested positive for Coronavirus last week, on Thursday, March 2nd.

After medical examinations, Falah was hospitalised in Baghdad, where he has been isolated in quarantine.

Positive numbers and fatalites are rising in Iraq.

When Falah was found positive and taken to the hospital, there were nearly 700 positive cases and 50 deaths in the country.

As of Monday, April 6th, there are 961 confirmed Coronavirus cases. The number of deaths increased to 61, whilst 279 cases have been reported to have recovered.
