Ceaseless architect – Solomon Asante put on another remarkable show at the Wild Horse Pass on Saturday as Phoenix Rising Football Club [PRFC] ran riot over LA Galaxy II in the 2021 USL Championship campaign.

The Ghanaian winger’s name kept resonating on the lips of the 8,815 spectators who turned up to due to his constant ecstatic football artistry that enabled the league leaders win 3-0 to extend their lead on the league table to 22 points, four points clear of second place San Diego Loyal who are on 18 points.

PRFC took the lead in the 19th minute through Tate Schmitt side-footed kick, off an Aodhan Quinn’s well taken corner kick.

Solomon Asante extended the lead for Phoenix Rising in the 46th minute after receiving a pass from Tate Schmitt in the goal area and take on two defenders with ease in the box before planting the ball in the net from a very difficult angle.

Spanish striker – Santi Moar would, however, put the game to rest for Phoenix Rising in the 66th minute after stealing the ball in his own half, controlled it to the third half before chipping the ball past goalkeeper Justin Vom Steeg into the yawning net.

Phoenix Rising will travel to face Charlotte Independence on Saturday, July 10.
