Black Stars striker Patrick Twumasi has helped his club side – FC Astana to qualify to the next round of the 2017/2018 UEFA Europa Cup competition.
FC Astana won their last Group A match [1-0] over Slavia Praha on Thursday at the Eden Arena courtesy M. Anicic’s 38th minute goal.
The Kazakhstani Premier League side [FC Astana] finished second in Group A with 10 points behind Villarreal CF [11 points].
Born in Obuasi, Ghana on May 09, 1994, Patrick Twumasi has been very instrumental in this year’s Europa Cup, scoring four  goals in the group stages and also winning Man of the Match Award.
Twumasi earned his first international cap for Ghana [Black Stars] in June 2016 under coach Avram Grant in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius.
The round of 32 draw will be held at the UEFA headquarters on Monday, December 11 in Lyon, France.
