Former Liberty Professionals and Bechem FC striker, Ernest Barfo has hinted on his readiness to play for the Black Stars when given the opportunity.

Barfo, who now plays in the Kuwaiti Top League for Al Nasar disclosed that Ghana Premier League clus; Great Olympics, Hearts of Oak, and Tema Youth were all chasing for his signature when the transfer window was opened but could not sign for any of them because Al Nasar were not ready to release him.

According to Ernest Barfo, the competition in Kuwait is very tough because there are lots of foreign players in the league. He also lauded the appointment of Kwesi Appiah as the coach of the Black Stars and reckons that he’s ever ready to give his all anytime he earns the national call up.

Barfo scored nine [9] goals in fourteen [14] appearances for Al Nasar.

He however, wished the Black Stars best of luck ahead of their AFCON 2019 qualifying match against Ethiopia at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today.
