The Ministry of Youth and Sports has directed the Ghana Football Association to put in place mechanisms that will ensure that games will be played in a safe environment as clubs prepare to welcome supporters [25%] back at match venues.

The Ministry made this known to the GFA on Friday, April 16 having granted the request of the Football Association to allow spectators to return to league centers.

“The Ghana Football Association has been directed to put in place mechanisms to ensure that games are played in a safe environment to ensure the safety of spectators,” a statement released by the Ministry said.

The Ministry urged the GFA to apply the appropriate sanctions to clubs that fails to comply with the approved COVID-19 Protocols.
