Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs witnessed the shock of their lives on Wednesday, June 28 at the Cape Coast Stadium as the Porcupine Warriors [Asante Kotoko] defied all odds to stop their enviable home record in the 2017 Ghana Premier League.

Ebusua Dwarfs were hopeful of repeating the dose on the Porcupine Warriors going into the game but as the saying goes “He who laughs last, laughs best” it was the visitors who left Cape Coast with the bragging right having won the day by 1-0.

Kotoko’s happily ever after victory came from the boot of the football President – Baba Mahama in the 31st minute after being put through by Jackson Owusu.

Ebusua Dwarfs kept Kotoko under intense pressure after the visitors had taken the lead and it had to take the brilliance of goalkeeper Felix Annan to excellently save Nicholas Gyan’s strike in the 40th minute.

The home side [Ebusua Dwarfs] kept the pressure unabated on Asante Kotoko in the second half except that they could not find the net as Felix Annan wore his tiger lenses on saving Asante Kotoko at every crucial stage of the game.
