Ghanaians across the globe will be looking up for an enthralling weekend as two Ghanaian boxers – Isaac ‘The Royal Storm’ Dogboe and George ‘The Red Tiger’ Ashie eyes victory in their respective bouts in Scotland and the United State of America.

Isaac Dogboe will defend his WBO bantamweight title against Hidenori Otake on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona whiles George Ashie takes on Stephen Ormond in an international lightweight contest on Friday, August 24 at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.

Paul Dogboe, father and trainer of the current WBO featherweight champion predicted last month that the Kamikaze warrior [Hidenori Otake] cannot go the full distance against the African warrior – Isaac Dogboe come Saturday.

But the experienced Japanese – Hidenori Otake [31-2-3, 14 KOs] has been on a winning spree since November 22, 2014.

This is going to be the Red Tigers shot since signing a three year contract with a foremost boxer management company – MTK Global but nonetheless has vowed to come out victorious in this encounter and return to greatness.

“The road is set for greatness with MTK Global,” the Commonwealth champion said after signing with MTK Global.

George Ashie [34] became a household name in Ghana due to his staggering performance against Emmanuel Tagoe back in November 2012.

The Red Tiger brushed aside Michael Mokoena in a majority decision victory to claim the interim WBO Africa lightweight title at the Trust Emporium last April.
