Ibrahim Gbekle, agent of Asante Kotoko central midfielder – Richard Senanu has claimed that the administrative manager of the Porcupine Warriors, Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi has told him that they are not interested in his client.

The player and Asante Kotoko have been negotiating for a contract renewal for the past three months, but it seems the two parties are finding it difficult to reach equilibrium.

According to an insider, the club proposed to pay the player GHC2,500.00 a month, but the fabulous midfielder and his agent are also demanding GHC5,000.00 per month from the club.

Both parties have kept their stance on the negotiation table, reason why the club is gradually getting impatient with the player and his agent.

In a related development, Ibrahim Gbekle has avowed that the administrative manager has informed him that Asante Kotoko are no longer interested in his player.

“Dasoberi called me and told me that they are not interested in Senanu so I should come for my player,” Mr. Gbekle claimed.

It is also alleged that Asante Kotoko has given the player a week ultimatum to leave his current place of residence.

The intelligent ball controller joined the Porcupine Warriors in 2018, but injuries has kept him off the pitch for the past two seasons.
