Dansoman Unique Stars Football Club toppled Kowa Naso FC and Attram de Visser FC to win the Accra second division [zone three lower] league.
Based in Dansoman, Unique Stars FC accumulated a total of 27 points having won all its home games [7/7]. The club won one match on the road whiles drawing three out of the seven away games.
Apart from winning the league, Ishmael Amuzu of Unique Stars also won the Golden Shoe Award having scored seven [7] goals in the season.
“Our division is a very tough one because playing in the same group with clubs like Kowa Naso FC, Attram de Visser FC, and UC United FC requires you to prepare properly.”
“At the end of the day, our good preparations prior to the season paid off and I like the way my players responded to the challenge,” he added.
