Crystal Palace striker – Jordan Pierre Ayew has been named the captain of the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s AFCON 2021 qualifying match against Sudan at the Blue Jewel Stadium in Omdurman this afternoon.
Coach C.K Akonnor has been forced to make changes ahead of the return game [having won the first game 2-0] due to various injuries to some of the senior players.
The Black Stars will miss the services of Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey, and Richard Ofori. Having missed the hierarchical quartet of his team, the coach has turned on Jordan Ayew to be the stand in captain for this afternoon’s game.
