Coach of the Super Eagles [Salisu Yusuf] has applauded the Black Stars B for lifting the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations having dispatched Nigeria 4-1 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday, September 24.

Second half substitute, Patrick Razak stole the show when he created three [3] chances within twenty-three [23] minutes to help nail the coffin on the head of the local Eagles who triumphed over the Black Stars B in their last group match.

But speaking in a post match interview, coach Salisu Yusuf was full of praise for team Ghana for taking their chances on the night.

“I think the better side won. Ghana created more opportunities and took their chances as well but I think we could have done better all the same,” Salisu Yusuf said.

Berekum Chelsea top marksman, Stephen Sarfo scored twice while Vincent Atingah [penalty] and Winful Cobbinah signed off the story for the Black Stars B who went into the competition with little hopes due to their elimination from next year’s Championship of Africa Nations [CHAN] tournament.
