Head coach of the Black Starlets [Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin] has commended the Ghana Supporters Group for the extraordinary role they played in his team’s victory over Niger on Wednesday.

The Black Starlets scaled through the round of 16 hurdle of the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India as they beat Niger 2-0 at the Dr. DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, but Paa Kwesi Fabin couldn’t talk about his team’s performance without the supporters who chanted tons of songs throughout the 90 minutes.

“When you are in a match of this nature and you see such a support from your country in the stands, it gives you some confidence and morale.”

“Their presence really helped the boys a lot and we appreciate their effort. We wish to have same support in our next match,” Paa Kwesi Fabin adds.

The coach promised that he and his technical team are going to fine tune the players ahead of their epic quarterfinal clash against the Eaglets of Mali on Saturday, October 21 in Guwahati..
