Head Coach of the Black Stars – Milovan Rajevac has shared his thought on the depth in quality of the current Black Stars and the immediate past team.

There’s been huge debate recently in the local media on the same topic. While some are of the view that the standard of the Black Stars have fallen, there are many others who also disagree completely.

But sharing his view in an interview with Henry Asante, the 67 year old Serbian tactician who had the opportunity to coach the last generation of the Black Stars admonished that it’s not easy to compare two generations but reckons that the former was strong and successful:

“It is not easy to compare but definitely the last generation was very strong and successful and in this generation I can see a lot of talents, many beautiful talents for the future so Ghanaians shouldn’t worry about the future of Ghana football.

“It is important to develop them well and as I said, this is just the beginning and it takes time to set up everything and to correct something’s and to make Ghana okay competitive football at the highest level.”

Coach Milovan Rajevac has maintain a 100% record since his return having led the Black Stars to two wins against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in this month’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers.
