Black Stars head coach – Milovan Rajevac has urged Ghanaians to concentrate on their titanic 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations Group C opening game against the Atlas Lions of Morocco this afternoon at the Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé and leave Ghana’s 0-3 loss to Algeria to history.

Speaking to Journalists ahead of the game the Serb assured that the Black Stars are ready for the Atlas Lions:

“The defeat is in the past and we are looking at the future. We are very positive in our next games and we will be taking it match after match.”

The coach, however, attributed the Black Stars poor showing against Algeria to late arrivals of some key players which affected the team’s organizational play on the day.

Morocco and Ghana have met three times previously at the Africa Cup of Nations [all in the group phase] with a fairly balanced head-to-head record with one win each and one draw.
