In an attempt to spark the interest in sporting activities as well as help to improve the teaching and learning condition of students, the 1993 year group of Christian Method Senior High School [CHRIMOSA] has donated target items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to its alma mater.

The items presented includes; two sets of handball jerseys, two handballs, whistles, inflator, boxes of nose masks, hand sanitizers, gallons of washing soaps, rolls of tissue papers, brand new medium-sized fridge, assorted text books for all core subjects amongst others.

Making the donation last Friday, Mr. George Tawiah [President of CHRIMOSA 93] noted that the purpose of the group is to give back to the school that has contributed in shaping up their lives and also help to develop students interests in sports.

Mrs. Gifty Dela Ahiawor [nee Gasper], secretary of CHRIMOSA 93 also encouraged the students to put the handballs to good use, because sports and games are not just mere physical activities.

“They play a significant role in making people healthy, confident, adaptable, alert, happy, and relaxed.” She said.

Mrs. Benedicta Asare who received the donation on behalf of the school thanked the highly powerful delegation of CHRIMOSA 93 for their act of benevolence while assuring them that the items will be put into its rightful use.
