Like almost every professional football club will do, Hearts of Oak trained at the Fadama Astro Turf yesterday in preparation towards their week 21 game against Karela United Football Club on Sunday at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase.

The aim of coach Samuel Boadu drilling his players at the Fadama Astro Turf is to help his boys get accustomed to playing on a synthetic pitch since that at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park is synonymous to the one at Fadama.

Supporters of Hearts as usual thronged the Fadama park in their numbers to catch a glimpse of their team train.

As part of preparations towards the much anticipated game the Phobians played a friendly match against Banana Inn FC on Tuesday, winning 4-1 with goals from Isaac Mensah, Michelle Sarpong, Bernard Obuo, and Daniel Yeboah.

Unlike Hearts of Oak who won their last game [1-0] against Inter Allies at the Accra Sports Stadium, Karela United on the other and lost 0-1 to Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu and are bent on claiming the three maximum points at home, but whether the Phobians will watch on is a story to be told on a different day.
