Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 100th Champions League goal for Real Madrid with the first of his two goals in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain, making him the first player to score a century of UCL goals with one team.

The reigning Ballon d’Or winner converted a penalty just before half-time after Toni Kroos was brought down in the box by a silly challenge by PSG midfielder Giovani Lo Celso.

The former Manchester United man then stepped up and beat goalkeeper Alphonse Areola with a powerfully hit shot to his left that was just out of reach for the Frenchman.

The Portugal international also netted a second in the 84th minute, when he bundled home the rebound after Areola spilled a Marco Asensio cross in the six-yard box.

Overall, Ronaldo, who scored 15 Champions League goals for United, has netted 46 on the road, 52 at home, and three at neutral sites in a Real shirt.

The goal also marked eight straight UCL games with a goal for Ronaldo, who has now scored 20 over his last 12 matches in the competition.
