Bruised Asante Kotoko hosts Aduana Stars; Bolga All Stars await Hearts of Oak up north

Aduana Stars will travel to the Garden City [Kumasi] to play as guest to red-eyed Asante Kotoko on matchday 13 of the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors [Asante Kotoko] have not been in the best of shapes for weeks despite having in their fold some of the best football talent on the local scene.

With the kind of materials at the disposal of Asante Kotoko no one would have believed that the Porcupine Warriors could go as many as five matches without picking a single win:

Aduana Stars have also not been too good in their last five games having won two [Great Olympics 1-2 Aduana Stars], [Aduana Stars 3-0 Tema Youth], drawn twice [Liberty Professionals 1-1 Aduana Stars], [Aduana Stars 0-0 Wa All Stars] whiles losing one on the road [1-2] to mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

The supporters of Asante Kotoko expect nothing from their darling club in tomorrow’s epic encounter with Aduana Stars but trust the ‘Ogya Boys’ to make life difficult for the Porcupine Warriors.

The visitors [Aduana Stars] will go toe-to-toe with Asante Kotoko haven’t set their sights on the league title, but they may surrender all the three points to the home side at the tail end of the match as Kotoko is going to fight till the last whistle.

Accra Hearts of Oak will be the guest of the unpredictable Bolga All Stars at the much talked about Tamale Utrecht Park.

Looking at the positions of both clubs on the league table [3rd and 15th] one would easily conclude that the Phobians are going to pick the three points without a sweat, but Bolga All Stars can spring a surprise on any day once they are playing at home.

After days of management gymnastics, Great Olympics are back together as one family and will be at the Community 3 Park to face the wounded Tema Youth.

This particular match is going to be an exciting one as both clubs are going to fight for the ultimate – the three points at stake. Tema Youth occupies the thirteenth [13th] position on the log with 13 points, two points better than Great Olympics who are fourteenth [14th] with 11 points.

Bottomed club, AshantiGold SC will host Medeama Sporting Club at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium. The soccer miners [AshantiGold] have nothing to prove on Wednesday except to steal their first win in over a month but the visitors are not pushovers anyway.

League leaders, West Africa Football Academy [WAFA] will be at their favourite Red Bull Arena in Sogakope to play against draw experts – Liberty Professionals who are still chasing their first win in six matches.

The scientific soccer lads [Liberty] will give WAFA a good match but in the end, Daniel Lomotey, Komla Agbeniandan, or Gideon Waja will find the net for the academy boys although Manucho is most likely to put his name on the score sheet.

Berekum Chelsea will also host Wa All Stars in another thrilling encounter at the Golden City Park whiles Ebusua Dwarfs will be at the Nana Gyeabour Park to face Bechem United.
